So I made Ella a cake. Every year, I say, I’m not gonna go fancy ever again. It’s too much stress, too much icing, too much sugar too much butter etc. So here she is, on her day, with her cake. It’s not the best cake. It wasn’t the stress that her cake was last year. But she loved it and that’s all that mattered.
So thankful for my kids today! I can’t even begin to comprehend the change in attitude in my heart. The Lord is working and I pray that I continue to get down on my knees before him in order to honour Him. I’m so thankful for all of you 5 people who read my blog 🙂
That is adorable!!! Well done!! I’m happy to be counted among the 5. 😉
Yes, I had one person subscribe today (YEAH!), so besides you and Charity, and my aunt, and my friend Leslie, that makes 5. I’m so excited!
Adorable . . . and so is the cake! But just how come your kids are growing up sooooo fast?!
What about ME?!? I make 6!
Not sure ewe counted me either. And I’ve shared links to your blog with a couple of gals who are at least looking in now & then.
Oh yes! Seven! This is beautiful. The Lord blesses.
I remember that cake last year. Tears. Miss you guys! (8!) (note that I have a very old unupdated blog out there. HA!
Yes. 8. Oh Amy we miss you. As I was making the video montage for Ella I found the pics from last year’s party and it made me miss you guys (and Charlie). We’re gonna get us a “Charlie” dog when we get to our next duty station after the next one which will be short.

Make it 9 🙂 Lovely blog and I love your attitude about the cake. She loved it and that’s what mattered. Less stress makes for happier people I say!
