There is something about being in a foreign place and then seeing family. To be a part of a family (be it blood or not) is truly wonderful. Then add a dose of a foreign country into the mix and it is doubly special. My cousin is the daughter of one of my Dad’s 11 brothers. She and her family live in Amsterdam and it is so incredibly wonderful knowing they are only 5 1/2 hours away.
My cousins minister to the lost and hurting of the Red Light District (RLD) in Amsterdam. All 10 of us cram into their little flat that looks over into the district. As you look at the pictures, please pray for their ministry there. Pray especially for the people who are directly effected by the RLD and all that in encompasses. It is a place that is really unbelievable. It is a dark place, but my cousins are a lighthouse there, trying to shine hope and peace to those who live there and visit there.
